Whether it's your first or hundredth time visiting Spain, this diverse country offers something new every time you set foot on its shores. The good weather in Spain means that life is lived outdoors –sangria at pavement cafes, long ambles on the beach and a jubilant buzz once night falls are all mainstays of the Spanish lifestyle.
Feeling hungry? Time for tapas! The traditional Spanish way of eating is relaxed and sociable. Every Spanish city is peppered with tapas restaurants and cafes but we think some of the best are in Barcelona. Just make sure to save room for the fine dining once you get back onboard!
While in Barcelona don't miss the whimsical architecture of Antoni Gaudi – from the gothic detail of the (still unfinished) Sagrada Familia to the colourful mosaics of Park Guell.
Barcelona offers so much, but a cruise to Spain also allows you to discover the sophistication of Valencia, the culture of Bilbao or the history of Cartagena, among other ports of call. All offer something different, along with that Spanish love for life. Discover more with our Mediterranean cruise deals.
